New pill shows promise against tough breast cancer

Summary

This study tested a new daily pill, OP-1250, in 153 adults with advanced or metastatic hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer. The goal was to find the right dose, check safety, and see if the drug can shrink tumors. Participants had already tried at least one hormone therapy before joining.
