Summary

This study tested whether an online compassion-focused therapy program could help teenagers with social anxiety disorder. Researchers worked with 49 teens to see if the therapy reduced anxiety symptoms and improved their ability to manage emotions. They also measured heart rate variability to see if physical stress responses changed along with emotional improvements.
