Can a web course teach cancer patients to spot bad online info?

Summary
This study is creating and testing an online learning tool designed to help people with cancer improve their skills at finding and understanding reliable health information on the internet. Researchers will randomly assign 660 cancer patients to either use the interactive tool, read a PDF with the same information, or receive no special materials. The main goal is to see if using the tool leads to better digital health skills after eight weeks compared to the other groups.
