First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether internet-based group cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) delivered over Zoom can reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression in international students in Malaysia. About 128 students with moderate to severe symptoms will be randomly assigned to either the therapy program or a waitlist. The therapy includes four one-hour sessions covering education, thinking and behavior techniques, and relapse prevention, with a follow-up one month later.
