Summary
This study aims to see if just one dose of the HPV vaccine is enough to protect young adult women from infection by cancer-causing HPV types. It involves up to 150,000 women in Sweden who are part of a national program to eliminate cervical cancer. The goal is to gather evidence to potentially simplify vaccination recommendations for women over 20.
