First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether ondansetron, a drug used for nausea, can lower the risk and severity of side effects from immunotherapy in people with liver cancer. About 134 patients will receive ondansetron or a placebo alongside their standard cancer treatment. The goal is to see if this simple addition makes immunotherapy safer without reducing its effectiveness.
