Summary
This study tested a once-daily combination of two drugs (lonafarnib and ritonavir) in 10 adults with chronic hepatitis D, a serious liver infection. The goal was to see if the treatment is safe and can lower virus levels over 48 weeks, with a 24-week follow-up. Participants had stable liver disease and were already on hepatitis B treatment.
