New hope for rare tumors: experimental drug ONC206 enters phase 2 trial

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called ONC206 in 90 adults with advanced pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma (rare tumors of the adrenal glands or nerve tissue). The goal is to see if the drug can shrink tumors or stop them from growing. Participants must have tumors that cannot be removed by surgery and have tried or declined other treatments. The study is currently recruiting.
