Summary
This small, completed study aimed to understand how osteopathic manual therapy (OMT), a hands-on treatment, might change the brain in people with chronic headaches like migraines. Researchers used brain scans to look for physical and functional changes in the brain before and after OMT treatment. The goal was to gather evidence on how this therapy might work, not to test it as a primary treatment.
