Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called OMT-28 in 28 adults with primary mitochondrial disease, a condition that affects energy production in cells. The goal was to see if the drug is safe and can improve blood markers and symptoms like fatigue. Participants took the drug daily for 6 months and were compared to their own health during a 3-month period before starting the drug.
