New JN.1 COVID vaccine trial aims to shield High-Risk groups

Summary

This study tests a new vaccine designed to protect against the Omicron JN.1 variant of COVID-19. About 120 adults aged 65 and older, and teens and adults aged 12 to 64 with health conditions that raise their risk for severe COVID, will receive a single shot. Researchers will check how well the vaccine boosts immunity and monitor safety for 6 months.
