Fish oil tested to calm autism behaviors in kids

Summary

This study is testing whether taking omega-3 supplements for 12 weeks can help reduce behavioral problems in children and teenagers with autism. Researchers will give 50 participants either omega-3 pills or a placebo (dummy pill) and measure changes in behavior, attention, and certain body chemicals. The goal is to see if this common supplement can ease some of the challenging symptoms associated with autism.
