New shot aims to tame blood disorders when other treatments fail

Summary

This early study tests a new drug called OM336 in adults with autoimmune cytopenias—conditions where the immune system attacks blood cells. The goal is to check safety and how the body processes the drug. About 32 people whose disease has not responded to at least one prior treatment will receive multiple doses under the skin.
