New drug combo shows promise for Hard-to-Treat blood cancers

Summary

This study tests whether adding the drug olutasidenib to standard treatments helps people with certain types of blood cancer (MDS or AML) that have an IDH1 gene mutation. About 132 adults will take part. The goal is to see if the new combination leads to higher remission rates and better blood counts.
