New drug combo shows promise for rare uterine cancer

Summary
This study tests two drugs—olaparib and temozolomide—together in 23 people with advanced uterine leiomyosarcoma that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery. The goal is to see if the combination can shrink tumors better than either drug alone. Participants receive both drugs and are monitored for side effects and tumor response.
