First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether the drug olaparib could help people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who responded to initial chemotherapy. Participants who had a good response to platinum-based chemo were randomly assigned to take either olaparib or a placebo daily to see if it delayed cancer growth. The trial was stopped early, but it aimed to find a new maintenance option for this serious disease.
