Scientists probe jaw cyst fluids for clues to how they form

Summary
This study looks at fluid from jaw cysts to learn more about how these cysts develop. Researchers will measure certain proteins (MMP-8, MMP-9, RANKL, MIP-1alpha) in the fluid taken during a routine diagnostic procedure. About 25 people with jaw cysts will take part. The goal is to better understand cyst biology, not to test a new treatment.
