New drug duo shows promise against Hard-to-Treat lymphoma

Summary
This study tests a combination of two drugs, obinutuzumab and ibrutinib, as the first treatment for people with slow-growing non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. The goal is to see how well the drugs shrink or eliminate cancer. About 30 adults with newly diagnosed lymphoma will receive this treatment. The approach aims to control the disease, not cure it, as ongoing management may still be needed.
