First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests an internet-based self-help program called OB-WELL for adults with obesity (BMI over 35). The program uses two types of therapy—CBT and BST—to reduce psychological distress. About 224 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the therapies or a waitlist. The goal is to see if the program improves mental well-being and if benefits last up to a year.
