Can a bowl of oats a day keep the doctor away? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT05526092

Summary

This study is testing whether eating an oat-rich diet for 6 weeks is better for health than a rice-rich diet in people with high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or who are overweight. Researchers will measure changes in cholesterol, blood sugar, gut bacteria, inflammation, and even energy levels and mental focus. The goal is to see if oats can help manage these common health conditions.
