NCT ID NCT04809064

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study compares three common shoulder surgeries (arthroscopic Bankart repair with remplissage, open Bankart, and Latarjet) in 450 military and civilian patients aged 17 to 50 who have shoulder instability with 10-20% bone loss. The goal is to see which surgery leads to better shoulder function, faster return to duty or sports, and fewer repeat injuries. Results will help doctors choose the best treatment for this common problem.
