New implant offers hope for overactive bladder sufferers

Summary
This study tested a small implant called the BlueWind RENOVA iStim that sends mild pulses to a nerve in the ankle to calm an overactive bladder. It involved 282 women who had urgent, frequent bathroom needs for at least 6 months. The main goal was to see if the implant could cut urgent leaks by half or more, and to check for side effects.
