First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a daily nutritional supplement can improve health in healthy adults aged 20-60. 84 participants took either the supplement or a placebo for 8 weeks. Researchers used a special non-invasive scanner to measure skin carotenoid levels (a marker of nutrition) and also used questionnaires to track wellness. The goal was to see if the supplement works and if the scanner is reliable.
