New study aims to spot malnutrition in kids with cerebral palsy
NCT ID NCT07351695
First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at 84 children with cerebral palsy to find better ways to check their nutrition. Because of movement and feeding problems, these kids are at high risk for malnutrition, but standard measurements can be hard to do. Researchers used arm circumference and other measures to see how common malnutrition is and how it relates to the child's level of disability. The goal is to make it easier for doctors to spot and treat nutrition problems in these children.
