New dialysis fluid aims to boost nutrition for kidney patients

Summary
This study is testing whether a special dialysis solution containing amino acids can improve the nutritional health of adults with end-stage kidney disease who use peritoneal dialysis. Researchers will replace one daily bag of the patient's regular dialysis fluid with the test solution for six months. They will check the patients' blood protein levels and overall health before and after the treatment to see if it helps and is safe.
