First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 24, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a structured, tailored nutritional care program helps children who need nutritional support after leaving the hospital. About 260 children from newborns to 18 years old will take part. Parents fill out questionnaires on eating behavior, stress, and food diaries, and a team of dietitians, pediatricians, and psychologists creates a personalized plan. The goal is to improve growth, eating habits, and quality of life for both children and parents.

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
multidisciplinary structured tailored nutritional advice
What this could lead to
If it works, this could improve growth, eating habits, and quality of life for children who need nutritional support after leaving the hospital.
What could go wrong
This is a relatively small trial (260 children) testing a behavioral intervention, so results may not apply to all children. The program requires extra effort from parents and healthcare teams.
