Summary
This study is testing whether a specific liquid nutrition formula (Peptamen 1.6) helps malnourished pancreatic cancer patients recover better after major surgery compared to a standard formula. Researchers will enroll 20 patients who have recently had pancreatic surgery and are struggling with poor nutrition. They'll measure how well patients tolerate the formulas, changes in body composition, inflammation levels, and gut bacteria to determine which formula supports better recovery.
