Can a special drink help seniors bounce back faster after a tough workout?
NCT ID NCT06205537
Summary
This study tested whether a combination of nutritional ingredients in a drink could help healthy adults aged 60-75 recover faster after a single session of exhausting leg exercise. Researchers measured changes in leg strength, muscle soreness, and fatigue. Participants were randomly assigned to receive either the nutritional drink or a placebo, and neither they nor the researchers knew which one they got.
