First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study examined whether nursing-led livelihood programs (bracelet making, rag making, dishwashing) improved income, nutrition, stress, and health among 25 indigenous Aeta women in the Philippines. Researchers surveyed participants and conducted interviews to understand changes in household income, employment, self-confidence, and access to healthcare. The goal was to see how these programs might support both economic empowerment and overall well-being.
