First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested if a nurse-led nutrition class could help dialysis patients with high potassium, a dangerous heart risk. Thirty adults on hemodialysis in Morocco, where dietitians are scarce, took part. After 12 weeks, more patients had safe potassium levels, showing this simple program can improve heart safety.
