Can a chat in the ER save a Baby's life? new study aims to cut Sleep-Related deaths
NCT ID NCT07237360
Summary
This study aims to see if a one-on-one talk with a specialized nurse in a pediatric emergency room can help parents follow safe sleep rules for their babies, which could prevent sudden unexpected infant death. Researchers will enroll 100 parents of babies aged 0 to 6 months who visit the emergency department. They will compare how many parents correctly place their baby on their back to sleep before and after the nurse's interview to measure its impact.
