New tests may spot kidney trouble sooner after surgery

Summary

This study looks at whether new markers in blood and urine can better predict kidney injury after kidney removal surgery than current standard tests. About 60 adults scheduled for surgery will provide samples before and after the procedure. The goal is to find faster, more accurate ways to detect kidney problems early.
