First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests a special magnesium-based membrane (NOVAMag SHIELD) used with bone graft material to support immediate dental implants in people with severe bone defects after tooth extraction. About 40 adults with advanced bone loss will receive the treatment and be followed for 3-4 months to measure bone growth and healing. The goal is to see if this technique works well enough to be used in routine dental care.
