First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests a new, painless way to check for heart valve diseases using a finger scanner. About 15 adults with aortic stenosis, aortic regurgitation, or no heart disease will place a finger in a device that uses light and sound to measure blood flow. Researchers want to see if the scanner can tell the difference between healthy hearts and valve problems.
