New hope for back pain sufferers: no surgery needed?

Summary

This study tests a non-surgical spinal decompression therapy for people with chronic low back pain caused by disc problems or sciatica. About 42 adults will receive either the therapy or a placebo over 12 weeks. Researchers will use MRI scans and movement tests to see if the treatment improves disc health, muscle function, and pain.
