NCT ID NCT07242261
First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tests a gentler way to detect oral cancer in people with Fanconi anaemia, who have a high risk of head and neck cancers but cannot tolerate harsh treatments like radiation or chemotherapy. Researchers will use a soft brush to collect cells from mouth sores and check for early cancer signs. The goal is to make diagnosis easier, less painful, and more thorough so that cancer can be caught earlier.
