Skin test could spare women from invasive heart procedures
NCT ID NCT07558018
First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study aims to see if a noninvasive skin test can accurately detect heart blood vessel problems in women who have chest pain but clear major arteries. Researchers will use laser and camera techniques on the skin and under the tongue to measure small blood vessel function. If successful, this could replace invasive heart catheterization for many women. The study plans to enroll 60 women aged 18-65 with angina chest pain.
