New drug for fatty liver enters first human safety test

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called NNC4005-0001 to see if it is safe and tolerable for people with extra body weight and too much fat in the liver. About 60 adults will get either the medicine or a placebo (a dummy pill) just once. The study lasts about 7 to 8 months and focuses on side effects and how the drug moves through the body.
