Early trial tests supercharged immune cells to fight tough leukemia

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new combination treatment for adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has returned or not responded to other therapies. The treatment involves giving patients specially modified immune cells (called CIML-NK cells) from a partially matched donor, along with a drug called atezolizumab. The main goal is to find the safest dose of this combination and see if it can help fight the cancer.
