This early-phase study tested a combination of two drugs—nivolumab (a standard immunotherapy) and plinabulin (an experimental drug that targets tumor blood vessels and kills cancer cells)—in 18 adults with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that had worsened after chemotherapy.
