New combo aims to improve mesothelioma surgery outcomes

Summary

This study is for people with a type of lung cancer called malignant pleural mesothelioma that can be removed with surgery. Researchers want to see if giving a combination of the immunotherapy drug nivolumab and chemotherapy before surgery is safe and does not delay the operation. About 22 participants will receive the treatment and then have surgery to remove the cancer.
