Summary
This study tested whether giving the immunotherapy drug nivolumab before surgery could help shrink tumors in people with advanced oral cavity cancer. 17 patients received the drug before their planned surgery. The main goal was to see how many patients had a significant reduction in tumor size or complete disappearance of cancer in the surgical sample.
