New drug cocktail shows promise for rare brain cancer

Summary
This early-stage trial tests a combination of four drugs (methotrexate, rituximab, lenalidomide, and nivolumab) in people with primary CNS lymphoma, a rare cancer of the brain or spinal cord. The goal is to find the safest dose of lenalidomide when added to the other drugs, and to see if a longer maintenance treatment can keep the cancer under control. About 47 participants who have not had prior chemotherapy or radiation will take part.
