Summary
This study looks at whether people with ALS who have trouble breathing can start using a noninvasive ventilator (a mask that helps them breathe) at home instead of in the hospital. Researchers will track how many hours patients use the machine each day, whether they stick with it, and how much it costs. The goal is to see if home-based care works just as well as hospital care.
