Doctors hunt clues to predict which tiny babies will struggle to breathe
NCT ID NCT07186790
Summary
This study aims to identify which factors put very premature babies at risk of failing their first non-invasive breathing support. Researchers will review the medical records of 160 babies born before 32 weeks who needed breathing help. The goal is to help doctors spot high-risk babies earlier so they can adjust care to potentially avoid more invasive treatments.
