Summary
This study tested the drug niraparib in men with high-risk prostate cancer that had not spread. The drug targets tumors with specific DNA repair problems. Only 11 men enrolled before the study was stopped early. The goal was to see if the drug could shrink or eliminate tumors before surgery.
