New study tests diet and exercise boost for colon cancer recovery

Summary

This study looks at whether a special nutritional supplement (HMB and vitamin D) combined with a structured exercise program can help adults with colon cancer regain muscle strength and improve recovery after surgery. About 120 participants will be randomly assigned to different combinations of nutrition and physical activity. The goal is to find better ways to support healing and quality of life after colon cancer surgery.
