Stanford tests easier bedtime pill for kids with narcolepsy
NCT ID NCT06809803
Summary
This study is testing a new, extended-release version of a narcolepsy medication for children. Researchers want to see if taking just one dose at bedtime is safer, more convenient, and works as well as current medications that require multiple nightly doses. The trial will involve 36 children with narcolepsy type 1 to compare their preference and the drug's effects on sleepiness and muscle weakness attacks.
