Nighttime help for new moms in recovery: can more sleep ease the stress?
NCT ID NCT05746507
Summary
This study tested whether providing overnight infant care helps new mothers who are in residential treatment for substance use disorders. About 20-25 mothers received overnight help for their babies approximately three nights a week for six weeks. The goal was to see if this support was practical to provide and if it helped mothers get more sleep, reduce stress, and stay in their treatment programs.
