NCT ID NCT06787937

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving smokers educational messages about nicotine and tobacco risks, along with very low nicotine cigarettes (VLNCs), helps them smoke less than just using VLNCs alone. About 1,230 adult smokers will take part, including those with mental health challenges or low income. Participants will attend weekly visits, complete surveys, and use study cigarettes for several weeks.
